Position Overview

 

The Site Merchandiser is responsible for executing an optimized shopping experience while growing
total company sales and meeting other KPIs. Owns and drives drive a dedicated category(s) of the business. This
includes maintaining a robust product catalog, plan site content that align with company initiatives, and successfully
execute that strategy. Responsible for monitoring performance of the category to make data-based decisions and
should be able to identify and recommend the best actions to take based on analytics and reporting results.

Work Environment:

At Duluth Trading Company, we value face-to-face interactions that foster our culture of learning, creativity, and teamwork. The role is based at our headquarters near Madison, WI. You will work in the office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely from home on Fridays if you prefer.

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Own the strategy for and merchandise website content for specific area(s) of the business. Includes using the

    website platform & tools to load, manage & schedule elements of the website.

  • Own and drive a dedicated category(s) of the business. This will include maintaining a robust product catalog, plan
    site content that align with company initiatives, and successfully execute that strategy.
  • You will be responsible for monitoring performance of the category to make data-based decisions and should be able to identify and
    recommend the best actions to take based on analytics and reporting results.
  • Create & maintain merchandising category landing pages and individual product pages.

  • Communicate content needs with creative partners & perform quality assurance checks before launch.

  • Coordinate execution of site Promotion messaging as well as optimizing landing pages.

  • Provide performance reports weekly, monthly and upon request using an analytics platform. Make informed
    recommendations on next steps from the results.

  • May be responsible for managing one or more direct reports. This would include managing performance,
    providing guidance on day to day operations, and providing regular feedback to team.

  • Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Associate's Degree in Associate Degree in related field - Equivalent work experience will be considered
  • 5+ years of merchandising or Ecommerce experience
  • Resourceful in seeking out answers and solutions with tools and help from their partners
  • Be proactive in forming cross functional relationships throughout the company and successfully communicate with other members of the
    ecommerce team, creative design teams, IT & other internal areas to manage our customer-centric website and
    drive their areas of focus
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Comfortable learning new systems/tools
  • Familiarity with industry
  • Excellent analytical and reasoning skills including clear retail math skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player to execute the merchandising vision
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Clear and concise communicator that can effectively manage expectations of a growing channel
  • Collaborative when needed but can work independently with little direction
  • Solid organizational and planning skills
  • Action-oriented and flexible
  • Analytical skills

Compensation Range: $65,000 - $78,200/year 

 

Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
