QA Auditor- Full Time 1st Shift

QA Auditor will assess the incoming products quality as relating to Tech Pack. This includes visual appearance measurements, construction, labeling, etc. 

Work Environment:

What You’ll Do: 

• Inspect the sample units that were pulled and staged in the rolling rack.  
• The spec for the product is accessed in PLM.  
• All the product, by color is placed on table and proceed to open all of one color at a time.
• Verify consistent shade by color.
• Inspect the units in that color – checking as per indicated in the Inspection Manual for any visual defects, incorrect sewing, etc.
• Verify that construction matches the Tech Pack.
• Verify all labeling on all units match the Tech Pack and BOM.
• Measure 3 units per size of the sample units. (Additional measurements if issues are found)
• The product is then put back in the same folding & packaging conditions as it came to have ready for sale.  Just like it was not opened.
• Report all defects or issues found during the inspection process.  Segregate defective and non-conforming units.  Each defective unit requires a ‘Defect Note’ describing location and issue found.
• Product is put back in the rolling rack.  Defective units are segregated from the acceptable conforming units.
• The auditor will then release the PO, if it passes.  If the PO does not pass it stays ‘On Hold’.

• Must be computer literate and proficient in technical writing.
• Proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
• Energetic, self-motivated, organized individual who is accustomed to working in a deadline-focused, high-pressure entrepreneurial environment.

• Creative and open-minded individual who fosters an environment in which sharing of ideas is encouraged.
• Ability to work with a diverse customer base.
• Ability to work well in a cross functional team environment.
• Prefer to have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, in addition to group/team setting.
• Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Portrays appropriate levels of integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management and staff.
• Acceptable Score on Munsell Color Test

Environmental & Physical Factors:

• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing up to 85% of workday
• Occasional adjusting or moving objects up to 40 pounds in all directions.
• Occasional reaching, twisting, and bending in multiple directions.
• Moderate noise level
• Work in temperatures ranging from 50-95 degrees
• The ability to walk long distances
• The ability to climb flights of stairs throughout the day
• The ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods of times.
• Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work area to another.
• Adjusting or moving objects over 20 lbs. in all directions

Compensation Range: 18.00/hour

Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
