Position Overview

 

The Fulfillment Center Asset Protection Manager will play a critical role in safeguarding our company's assets, minimizing losses, and promoting a safe and secure work environment. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and execute comprehensive asset protection and safety strategies and collaborate cross-functionally to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.

What You’ll Do: 

Safety

  • Develop proactive programs to foster a culture of safety and accountability through the facility to minimize the frequency and severity of accidents.
  • Develop, publish, and maintain a Safety Manual that complies with OSHA and State regulations.
  • Collaborate with management and department heads to establish and maintain comprehensive safety training for employees and managers.
  • Develop and audit required inspection processes and annual compliance training per State and OSHA compliance standards.
  • Conduct workplace injury investigations and report findings.  Investigate and analyze accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents.  Develop and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain up-to-date OSHA 300 and 301 recordkeeping for each calendar year and facilitate posting requirements.  File ITA and State records where required.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and management on health and safety-related matters, including the interpretation and application of laws, standards, and policies.
  • Assist in the management of worker’s compensation claims handling.  Work with the insurance company to close out cases and minimize costs.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure minimization of safety hazards.
  • Ensure compliance to insurance regulations.  Audit where necessary.

Physical Security - Protection of Assets

  • Engage in collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams, encompassing Operations and HR, to discern strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, risks, vulnerabilities, and threats pertaining to the security of the fulfillment center.  Subsequently, formulate preemptive security strategies to effectively mitigate these challenges.
  • Maintain BRIVO access control system and policies
  • Partner with law enforcement agencies, external vendors, and industry professionals to stay updated on the latest security technologies, trends and best practices.
  • Conduct CCTV investigations where necessary
  • Conduct employee theft investigations where necessary.
  • Coordinate all service and repair needs for security equipment are maintained including surveillance systems, access controls, and alarm systems, to ensure the protection of assets and the safety of employees.

Inventory Integrity

  • Responsible for identifying and resolving inventory integrity opportunities at the assigned fulfillment center.
  • Work with Inventory Management to determine the cause of inventory discrepancies. 
  • Assist in identifying inventory integrity causation and making recommendations for correction.

Retail Support

  • Support retail stores by conducting video investigative reviews and alarm code addition/removal.  Travel to stores and conduct investigations/interviews when needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
    • Equivalent work experience would be considered
  • Minimum 4 years experience
  • Strong knowledge of safety & asset protection best practices, security technologies, and investigative techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using security systems, surveillance equipment, and other technology tools.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and compliance standards related to asset protection and workplace safety.
  • Professional certifications such as CPR/AED are a plus.
  • Strong integrity and professionalism
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft
  • Proficiency in using security systems, surveillance equipment, and other technology tools.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Position Compensation Outline 

Compensation Range: $77,500 to $97,000/year 

This position is eligible to participate in the company bonus program. 

 

Compensation listed is for the full-time position at this specific location and is based on several factors, including experience, and qualifications. Benefits and perks may have eligibility requirements and are subject to change.
